Amy Rauworth

Chief Research and Innovation Officer

Amy Rauworth is a leader in physical activity, advocacy and research, dedicated to promoting inclusion for individuals with disabilities and chronic health conditions. As Chief Research and Innovation Officer at Lakeshore Foundation, she leads sports science research, community health initiatives and policy efforts to expand access and opportunities. A clinical exercise physiologist with over 25 years of experience, Amy has shaped national and international disability inclusion strategies and serves on the Physical Activity Alliance Board of Directors, as well as leadership roles in Alabama-based organizations. She has managed multi-million-dollar research grants, collaborated on national disability health initiatives, and contributed to inclusive fitness and health programs. Passionate about outdoor recreation, Amy enjoys nature with her husband, EJ, their two children, Katie and Lauren, and their dogs, Wrigley and Sadie.

 

Kelly Bonner

Director, Lakeshore Sports Science and Performance Center

Kelly Bonner is the Director of Sports Science and Performance at Lakeshore Foundation, where she oversees the implementation of the high performance center. Kelly brings over 25 years of experience at Lakeshore Foundation, working across departments from training and education to designing and implementing inclusive fitness program to coaching.

 

 

 

 

Brandon Kane

Associate Director of Sports Performance, Lakeshore Sports Science and Performance Center

Brandon Kane is a seasoned exercise physiologist with seventeen years of experience and holds two professional certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine. He began his focus on adapted exercise and sports upon joining Lakeshore Foundation in 2015. In 2023, he contributed significantly to the establishment of Lakeshore Foundation Sports Science and Performance Center. In his current role, Brandon directs all sports science initiatives for SSPC, including the creation and evaluation of sport-specific testing protocols, strength and conditioning programs and recovery strategies. Outside his professional duties, Brandon is also interested in drawing and maintains a long-standing passion for weather and meteorology. He resides in Trussville, AL with his wife Lili, daughters Nora and Reilly, and their family dog, Caroline.

 

Behzad Mansouri

Program Evaluator

Dr. Behzad Mansouri is a Program Evaluator at Lakeshore Foundation. With specialization in Research Methodology and Program Evaluation, he designs and conduct surveys and focus groups, analyzes data and draft reports for SSPC projects. Behzad implements needs assessment, advocacy evaluation, and designs evidence-based programs in support of enhancing community engagement for individuals with disabilities.
