Meet Lakeshore Lightning Player Chris Goodwin

Chris Goodwin is new to the sport of wheelchair basketball and one of Lakeshore Lightning’s newest members, but he has quickly become a top scorer and leader on and off of the court. Learn a little bit more about Chris, and watch him play this weekend at the 2017 Pioneer Classic.

How many years have you played wheelchair basketball? This is my first year to play on a wheelchair basketball team and will be my first Pioneer Classic.

How did you get involved with wheelchair basketball? I learned about Lakeshore Foundation and its wheelchair basketball teams while going through physical therapy at Healthsouth Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital.

How old were you when you began playing? 18
