Lauren’s Chili

1 lb Lean Ground Turkey
1 lb Lean Ground Beef
1 Can of Chili Beans (or black or kidney beans)
1 Can of Corn
1 tbsp Olive Oil
3 tbsp Chili Powder
4 tbsp Tomato Paste


  1. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to a large pot over medium high heat.
  2. Add 1 lb of lean ground turkey and 1 lb of lean ground beef to the large pot.
  3. Stir in 3 tbsp of chili powder or a chili seasoning packet.
  4. Add in 4 tbsp of tomato paste and 1 cup of water and stir thoroughly. (Can substitute or add in tomato sauce or diced tomatoes.)
  5. Drain 1 can of corn and 1 can of chili beans and add into cooked meat. Simmer on medium low heat for 20 minutes. (Can substitute with black beans or kidney beans.)
  6. Add in preferred amount of salt, pepper, and hot sauce
  7. Sprinkle with cheese and a dollop of sour cream for added flavor
