Ingredients:
1 lb Lean Ground Turkey
1 lb Lean Ground Beef
1 Can of Chili Beans (or black or kidney beans)
1 Can of Corn
1 tbsp Olive Oil
3 tbsp Chili Powder
4 tbsp Tomato Paste
Directions:
- Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to a large pot over medium high heat.
- Add 1 lb of lean ground turkey and 1 lb of lean ground beef to the large pot.
- Stir in 3 tbsp of chili powder or a chili seasoning packet.
- Add in 4 tbsp of tomato paste and 1 cup of water and stir thoroughly. (Can substitute or add in tomato sauce or diced tomatoes.)
- Drain 1 can of corn and 1 can of chili beans and add into cooked meat. Simmer on medium low heat for 20 minutes. (Can substitute with black beans or kidney beans.)
- Add in preferred amount of salt, pepper, and hot sauce
- Sprinkle with cheese and a dollop of sour cream for added flavor
