Lakeshore Foundation is Open by Appointment Only

We are excited to welcome you back to Lakeshore! We have developed an extensive staged reopening plan.

Stage One is designed to support social distancing and sanitation guidelines, which require that we limit the amenities and services available during this stage, including not offering on-site classes and requiring all members to schedule visits.

Stage One Overview

  • A limited number of members will be allowed in the building at one time to ensure social distancing. No guest passes will be issued. Scroll down to schedule a visit.
  • For member safety, no on-site classes will be offered and no towels will be provided. Some equipment has been relocated to the Fieldhouse and Atrium to ensure social distancing.
  • Towels, showers, changing areas, lockers and vending machines will not be available. Assisted dressing rooms will be available.
  • Members are required to schedule visits in 1 hour and 45 minute increments, with a limit of four visits per week. Scroll down to view visit requirements and schedule a visit.
  • Confirmation of your requested visit must be received before coming to the Lakeshore Campus.
  • Cleaning will take place throughout the day using an EPA-approved disinfectant. The facility will be closed for 30 minutes every two hours for more in-depth cleaning.
  • Members and staff must bring and wear face masks, except in the water.
  • All members and staff will be screened at the main entrance, including a touchless temperature check.
  • All members are asked to commit to following our social distancing plan when using the facility.
  • You will not be able to enter the facility if:
    • You have knowingly been exposed to COVID-19.
    • You have a fever of 100.4 or higher in the last 48 hours.
    • You have shortness of breath, sore throat or coughing.

Some individuals are at higher risk for COVID-19, including those over 65 or with certain health conditions. We encourage you to assess your risk and as always, consult your physician with any questions or concerns about returning to normal activities.

For more information on high risk factors, visit the CDC COVID-19 webpages, including: People Who Need to Take Extra PrecautionsGroups At Higher Risk for Severe Illness and People with Disabilities.
