Therapy Pool, shallow
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Members are encouraged to bring their own hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support. This class offers moderate-to-high aerobic, endurance, and strengthening exercises. This class will challenge your coordination and balance offering a deep water component. Posture alignment will challenge your core muscles to activate and strengthen during this class. Participants must be comfortable in deep water to utilize this portion of the class.
