2009-2010 Program Information

 Hunting season is just around the corner and preparations are underway for another exciting time at the Lakeshore Foundation Hunting Club. We invite you to join us at our facility in Sumter County, Alabama, about 15 miles from Livingston, Alabama. The facility offers sleeping arrangements for up to 15 people, wheelchair accessible restrooms, a fully accessible kitchen along with central heating and cooling. We also provide assistance to disabled hunters with getting to and from deer blind, with guiding, scouting, tracking and skinning of harvested game. Lakeshore Foundation staff supervises all hunts.

Dates:                      November 18-20, 2009-Primitive Weapon, Muzzle load or Bow
                                 December 4-6, 2009
                                 January 15-17, 2010 **THIS DATE IS FULL**
                                 January 22-24, 2010

Fee:                          Disabled hunters-$150.00 for 1 weekend hunt
                                 Non-hunting attendant: No charge/No hunting allowed
                                 Hunting attendant accompanying disabled hunter: $250.00 for weekend hunt
                                 Current Lakeshore Foundation Active Member 50% discount
                                 Scholarships available

Fee includes:          2-Nights lodging at the Lakeshore Foundation Hunting Club
                                  Access to 2,000 acre Lakeshore Foundation exclusive deer lease
                                  Hunting guide to assist each hunter with physical disability
                                  Accessible transportation to/from lodge to deer blind
                                  Access to accessible deer blind
                                  Skinning of harvested game
                                  All meals (Friday dinner, Saturday 3-meals, Sunday Breakfast only)

*Please plan to bring snacks and food for your meals-refrigerator and stove available for your use. Alcohol not permitted at Lakeshore Foundation Hunt Club.

Complete the 2009-10 hunting program registration form in its entirety and return along with registration fee made payable to Lakeshore Foundation-Hunt Club. If you will be accompanied by a personal care attendant they will also need to complete a registration form even if they will not be hunting. You can only register for one (1) hunt. An alternate date may be chosen in case your first choice is not awarded.

Mail your completed registration form and fee to the address below. Once we receive your registration, we will contact you by phone to confirm your date. Two (2) weeks prior to your hunt, you will receive a conformation packet with additional detailed information including what to bring, directions and rules.

All hunters are required to have a valid Alabama hunting license. Advanced registration is required and space is limited. A minimum of 6 people with physical disability required for each hunt to be scheduled.
