 New Adult Recreation Programs

Ages 18 and up

Air Rifle Shooting:  Tuesdays 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Air Rifle Shooting is a recreation program that is open to any member of Lakeshore Foundation who is 18 years of age or older. Participants will be briefed on gun safety as well as receive basic shooting instruction. Air Rifle shooting takes place in Lakeshore Foundation's shooting range. Archery:  Thursdays 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Archery is a recreation program that is open to any member of Lakeshore Foundation who is 18 years of age or older. Participants will be briefed on safety as well as receive basic instruction. Archery will take place in Lakeshore Foundation's shooting and archery range. No experience or personal equipment is necessary. Boccia:   Mondays & Wednesdays 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Boccia practice and games will be played in the fieldhouse. This is a fun activity adapted for adults who use a power wheelchair. Throwing techniques, strategies and rules of the game will be covered each week, along with fun competition. For more information please call Bob Lujano at 313-7431 or email bobl@lakeshore.org.

Cycling:   Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30-5:00 p.m.
September 8- October 20, 2010.

This is an adult cycling training program in preparation for Lakeshore Foundation's Tri-it-Your-Way Triathlon scheduled for Saturday, October 23, 2010. You can learn how to ride a handcycle or just ride to train. A limited number of handcycles and tandem bikes will be available for member use. Tandem bike riders will need to bring their own pilot. Tennis:   Mondays 6:30-8:30 p.m.
August 23 -September 27

Tennis is a seasonal recreation program offered to adult members looking to learn the fundamentals
of tennis. This is an introductory program which will focus on learning proper technique as well as
learning rules of the game. No experience or personal equipment is necessary. Pre-registration is
