Interning at Lakeshore Foundation, you should be a hard-working, creative and passionate individual with an interest in working with individuals with physically disabling conditions. Opportunities are open to college and
university students in therapeutic recreation, adapted
physical education and other related fields. Please note that internships are not
available for physical therapy or occupational therapy students. Internships are generally offered in fitness, aquatics, athletics, general and outdoor recreation and youth programs, with much of your work being done across disciplines:
Lakeshore Foundation provides quality work experience to interns in a variety of areas. Internship sessions are offered in the winter (January-May), summer (May-August) and fall (August-December). Please be aware that the applicant
must cover all expenses connected to the internship. Lakeshore Foundation does not offer financial compensation.
