Recreation

Lakeshore offers youth and adult recreation programs for its members and for individuals with physical disability who are thinking about becoming a member.  Introduction to adapted sports and recreation is offered from a beginner level teaching new skills to an advanced level for those looking to stay physically fit through active recreational sports.

For youth we offer after school, weekend and day camp activities.  In partnership with US Paralympics, Lakeshore is one of 225 Paralympic Sport Clubs in the country and one of only 15 to achieve Official Gold Medal Excellences status. For adults age 16 and up we offer wheelchair flag football, handcycling, boccia, air gun shooting and archery in Lakeshore’s indoor range, wheelchair rugby league, weekend outings, adapted water skiing, adapted hunting and more.
