Aquatics

Dive into one of the most popular amenities offered at Lakeshore – our aquatics programs. Our talented and experienced staff specialize in individual exercise programs, lap swimming and dynamic group exercise classes. After joining, you will receive a one-on-one orientation with a member of our staff who will provide information on the best way(s) to integrate an aquatics program into your workout plan.

The Aquatics Center is open Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Housed within the center are two pools, a 4-lane, 25-meter pool maintained at approximately 92 degrees and a 25-yard, 8-lane pool maintained at approximately 86 degrees. Both pools are accessible and offer multiple ways of entry/exit for people with varying levels of ability. A wide variety of equipment including kickboards, training paddles, hand buoys and ankle weights are also available to members.

Adult

Not sure where to begin? Our adult aquatics programs offer independent exercise and lap swimming for seasoned swimmers. You may also choose to participate in one of our many group classes that range from beginner low-impact exercise to advanced cardiovascular exercise. Are you looking for an individualized swimming experience? Our staff is available by appointment to provide one-on-one lessons.


Youth

We take pride in our vibrant youth aquatics programs. Youth programs are for children ages six months to 18 years with a wide range of ability levels. Classes and programs also vary from beginner learn to swim classes to functional-based classes and teen swim. Each class promotes goal setting in a fun and interactive environment.
