Physical activity is the heart of Lakeshore Foundation. Within activity you can find information on aquatics, fitness, recreation and athletics for children, adults, athletes and those that have been injured in service to our nation.
This class includes a warm up, range of motion exercises, strengthening and endurance exercises. Also included are up to 20 minutes of low-to-moderate intensity activities. Lap pool, 45 minutes shallow and 15 minutes deep
Classic Yoga positions are adapted to meet the needs of the individual. Emphasis is placed on smooth, rhythmical breathing throughout the entire exercise program. Class includes restorative breathing exercises and ends with a relaxation technique. Explore and progress at your pace. Experience overall health benefits, increased flexibility, improved balance, and body awareness. All levels of fitness are welcome.
Consists of a series of easy-to-follow dance moves. The moves focus on improving balance, strength and flexibility, while raising your heart rate and improving cardiovascular fitness. Moves can be performed while standing or sitting. All levels of fitness are welcome.
An upper body rotational exercise class featuring stationary arm bikes. Participants work at their own intensities, and with a removable seat, the Krankcycle® is accessible to individuals who use a wheelchair or stand. Space is limited, and sign-up is available 30 minutes prior to each class at the fitness desk. Bring a water bottle and a towel because you are sure to sweat. All levels of fitness are welcome.

Lakeshore’s athletic programs provide opportunities for youth and adults with physical disabilities to train and compete in a wide range of sports.
Lakeshore offers indoor and outdoor recreation programs for youth and adults with a physical disability who are Lakeshore members and individuals who are potential members.
Lima Foxtrot is Lakeshore Foundation’s injured military program that has become one of our country’s premier sport, fitness and recreation programs for members of our Armed Forces.Learn More
